Abstract
A theory by Chapman, Rhodes, and Seymour treats the eddy-current effect on NMR line shapes in metals. The objective of the present work is to test the theory in the presence of high self-diffusion rates and also in the presence of moderately large saturation factors. The theory was verified using lithium metal wires at room temperature.
