Abstract

It is high time that buyers search out various options and negotiate discounts rather than simply saying yes or no to a prepared schedule. For one thing, a vendor's schedule is not going to cater to a buyer's interests unless specifically agreed upon. Hence the basic thing buyers should do to protect their interests is to keep relevant break-even values handy. These will serve as useful benchmarks during negotiations.
