Abstract

Because of the inadequacy of reviewing sources, academic librarians with the responsibility of collecting reference works published in foreign languages face serious difficulties when trying to identify appropriate titles. This paper attempts to alleviate this problem in the area of reference collections in German by presenting an annotated bibliography of selected in-print German-language works. The titles listed are standard reference works which support academic programs in German Studies. © 1995 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
