Abstract
The paper proposes a multicriteria approach to location decision making arising in wholesale procurement and distribution problems. A unique feature of the proposed methodology is that it uses three performance measures - cost, delivery time, and customer service rating, and allows pre-determined amounts of trade-off between the three measures within a framework of priorities. A mixed-integer programming model is developed to generate the alternatives which are then evaluated using the analytic hierarchy process.
