Abstract
Molly and her partner, Max, have been going through a difficult time the past several months. When they sit down to talk Max tells Molly that he had a brief affair and is extremely sorry. It is over and he knows it was wrong. He wants to work on their relationship and has suggested marital counseling as a way to move forward. Max realizes that Molly may need some time but in the end he hopes she will choose to stay in the marriage. © 2000 by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
