Abstract
Fund raising over the Internet offers people an opportunity to send a message to their targeted publics and to seek donations. Nonprofits need to recognize donors' motivations to craft a persuasive appeal and then determine if the Internet is a feasible method of fund raising for the organization. The main problem with online donations is setting up the credit card process. Many online fund raising services are available to nonprofit organizations. Partnering with e-commerce is a great way to raise money. © 2001 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
