Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of a zirconium complex, containing a partially hydrogenated corannulene-based ligand was discussed. The zirconium atom was determined to be bound to the exo face of the bowl-shaped ligand. Corannulene was also found to undergo a bowl-to-bowl inversion process, and its inversion barriers were determined.
