Abstract

Three new Argentinian species of Physaria, P. crassistigma, P. lateralis, and P. pygmaea, are described and illustrated. The new combinations P. mendocina and P. urbaniana are proposed. A key to the five South American species of Physaria is given. Brief comments are presented on the disjunction of these South American species and their relationships to their North American relatives.
