Abstract

"In the House of the Mirrors" is a compilation of short stories that question the concept of reality. These stories, however, do not only question reality but also supernaturalism, myth, and legend. Is there any magic in reality or are these two terms always in opposition with each other and can never coexist? What happens when we die? If the gods die, what happens when they die? Is our fate already predetermined or do we really have free will? These stories insist that there are events in life that we ignore because they do not fall in what we have been trained to accept as real.
