Abstract
Academic procrastination is common in college students. The study tested and compared the role of multiple psychological factors of academic procrastination. Sixty-eight college students at UNI participated in the study. It was found academic procrastination was positively related to fear of failure, aversive to tasks, and overall procrastination trait. On the other hand, there was a negative relationship between academic procrastination and self-oriented perfectionism. When comparing to other factors, overall procrastination trait had the strongest relationship with academic procrastination. The study advanced the knowledge of academic procrastination in college students.
