Project Summary
Active Bystander Training aims to provide businesses on College Hill with comprehensive skills and knowledge to appropriately intervene in situations that could lead to sexual violence, with support from the Riverview Center. Our project was inspired by the Raise The Bar program at the University of Iowa. As a group, we also completed 30 hours of Sexual Advocate Training through Riverview and 14 hours of MVP training, all of which gave us the necessary credentials to train bar employees. To encourage participation from businesses on the hill, we have received a letter of support from the College Hill Partnership. Our goal is to decrease the number of sexual assaults that occur around and on our campus to make students feel safe. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_z7E9L2nd2-OYmcUbEjhmH8OpjF2w2j7 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VvsZSjmTp851VuSv_V_55x_x6b80br_b https://drive.google.com/open?id=19REb7dbj6NBiLn4SlURXPGQSmlbswx-0
