Project Summary

A service learning project in partnership with Country View nursing facility, in which a class of thirteen students learned portrait painting while spending time with the residents of Country View. The project included three onsite visits to the facility and Residents visited UNI twice. The project concluded with an exhibition of the paintings at UNI Gallery of Art, a book of the paintings for distribution and news coverage.
