Department of Curriculum and Instruction

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is the home of elementary education, early childhood education and middle level education majors, and literacy education and instructional technology minors or endorsements. The department also offers endorsements in education of the gifted and school library studies for practicing teachers, master’s degrees in all divisions and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program. The department serves approximately 1,400 undergraduate majors and nearly 150 graduate students.
