Frank Lloyd Wright and Mason City

This collection contains a series of posters that commemorate Prairie Style architecture in Mason City, Iowa, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Stockman House, City National Bank and Park Inn, and residential houses designed by Walter Burley Griffin, Marion Mahony Griffin, and others. These posters were designed in 2017 by Roy R. Behrens (Art Professor Emeritus) as pro bono promotions for historic Iowa-based architecture and design. Behrens is also the author of Frank Lloyd Wright and Mason City: Architectural Heart of the Prairie (History Press, 2016). This collection is a subset of the larger Behrens Poster Archive.
