Series Description
The twenty-eight posters in this series were designed in 2022-2023 by Roy R. Behrens, UNI Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Scholar. His intention was to celebrate the efforts of the original American craftspeople, the artists who made the interpretive images, and government sponsorship of the Index of American Design. Many more of the original images, as well as more information, can be found online at the National Gallery of Art.
