Program

Scott Cawelti is a columnist for the Waterloo Courier, and an Emeritus Professor at UNI, where he taught film, writing and literature from 1968-2008. He has published two writing textbooks and edited the Complete Poetry of James Hearst (University of Iowa, 2001). In addition he is the author of Brother's Blood: A Heartland Cain and Abel (Ice Cube Press, 2011), a creative nonfiction book about the Mark family murders in Cedar Falls.

This event will focus on the merits and accuracy of the 2017 PBS documentary on The Vietnam War. Those attending need not have seen the televised series.
