Abstract
This study investigated a swallow speed test under both dry and water conditions in healthy adults and persons with dysphagia. Participants also completed instrumental evaluations to explore the relation between swallow speed and tongue strength. The establishment of swallowing power tests may promote early identification of dysphagia and optimal rehabilitation.
