Abstract
Scientific inquiry is more than prescribed experiments. This content analysis examined preservice and practicing teacher outdoor nature inquiry projects to determine how well educators demonstrated an understanding of the inquiry process. Results of this study suggest use of direct, concrete instruction during each phase of the inquiry process.
