Abstract
Trauma, community violence, domestic violence, and substance abuse can have a negative impact on an individual’s health and mental wellbeing. Survivors of trauma and abuse have higher rates of mental illness relationship problems, occupational stability, and substance abuse compared to the general population. Come learn more about these dynamics and develop practical strategies to assist those who have been affected by violence.
