Abstract
The purposes of the study were to examine programs for gifted pupils in selected high schools of the United States and survey the literature dealing with the practices and procedures for the education of the gifted and to adapt these practices and procedures to a program for the education of gifted pupils in the multipurpose higher secondary schools of India.
