Abstract
The four composers and six works featured on this recital were chosen for two reasons: to display the extreme stylistic· diversity of literature currently included in the modern solo piano repertoire, and to highlight important historical aspects of style which must be considered when using the same modern piano to realize this, entire body of literature.
