Shahina Amin

Information about Lecturer

Shahina Amin is the Lawrence Jepson Professor of International Economics. She is currently a board member and the Midwest representative of the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP), a standing committee of the American Economic Association. Her research has focused on child labor, women’s employment, and immigration issues. Her most recent publications have identified the effect of religion on women’s employment in Indonesia and the effects of income and education on religiosity in the United States.
