Abstract
Consensus Building in the Community: What Generates Trust and Respect must be addressed at local levels as we endeavor to build supportive and collaborative communication between the community and the schools.
In preparing this report, I interviewed various people, both in our school system and statewide. I found a wide variance of opinions regarding our public school system.
Our project is to enhance communication with communities to better serve the needs of all the students. It is my belief that Iowa must transform its education system to meet the needs of the high performing, global economy of the twenty-first century. To do this, we must successfully communicate with our communities.
