Abstract
The intent of this paper is to stimulate dialog on:
• the legal issue of separation of Church and State in schools and the affect it has on Iowa's education system and on each person who passes through the process.
• some revealing quotes from our founding fathers that pointedly show how our Nation must be run and controlled to operate successfully, or to even survive.
• what affect specific court decisions on the separation of Church and State have had and are having on our citizens, especially on our youth.
• some startling, revealing statistics that seem to support the view our nation's founders held about morals and law.
