Abstract
School choice is about giving parents educational options from which they can choose to best meet the needs of their child/family.
School choice has many favorable benefits which fall into two broad categories: (a) benefits to the child and family, and (b) benefits to the school district and community.
I believe that the student is the most important ingredient in the educational process and, therefore, one of the most important benefits is that his/her unique individual needs and desires can be better addressed and met through educational options, i.e., school choice.
