Abstract
When transformation activities begin and develop in a school district, the level of staff involvement mushrooms. Teachers who are interested in sharing information, discussing issues, examining alternatives, and deciding action are provided a new breath of professionalism previously inexperienced. Their enthusiasm is excitingly contagious. These 'movers and shakers' must be provided time release to accommodate the additional commitment before disillusionment and burn-out set in.
