Abstract
During the past few years, many initiatives to change American schools have been unveiled. Several of these have been shaped in Iowa school districts and schools. A common characteristic in these ambitious changes the desire to improve student performance.
School-based shared decision-making is one of the best ways to produce meaningful, broad, and lasting improvement in student performance. However, it is often a tedious, time-consuming method. That is why conscious efforts must be made to construct effective communication. With effective communication, people can discover time together and the time can be used effectively.
