Abstract
The development of appropriate training programs to support school-based management through shared decision-making requires both a discipline and a process. The discipline includes district strategic planning, stakeholder involvement, and an ongoing commitment to professional growth. The process includes training decision-makers, training content, duration and frequency of training programs, and participants to be trained.
