Abstract
It appears, particularly in press releases over the past decade, that criticism of American education is worthy of front page news. The press gives one the impression that teachers have failed, causing deteriorating conditions in our schools. Perhaps we need to reflect on some of the misrepresentations perpetrated by biased constituents who may have ulterior motives that are not in the best interest of quality education for our youth.
