Abstract
Accomplishing appropriate role models for people of color in education is a great challenge for predominately White institutions. Conversely, if accomplished the institutions experience greater opportunity for organizational growth in how to support people of color and how they can support the educational institution; personal growth in learning from the experiences of people of color; and an opportunity for market growth by attracting more people of color. Although the concepts in this paper apply to all educational institutions, they focus on predominately White educational institutions.
