Abstract
The educators involved in exploring Issue 3: Support and Mentoring for People of Color in Education, were exceptionally enthusiastic in their efforts to critically examine this important concern. The insightful position papers gave excellent perspective for the group to begin its deliberations. The level of participation and respect given to differing views allowed for continued movement toward consensus on the critical issues involved and the resolution for options for public policy on these issues.
