Abstract
"Paradigm has become a buzz word for the theorists of the emerging world," writes Lance Morrow in his Time Magazine essay, "Old paradigm, new paradigm," the article continues, "People in business schools, in think tanks, use paradigm as a sort of reality thresher-a way of comparing past and present, an implement for sorting out history at a moment of tumbling global change."
Educators are caught in the middle of the dilemma of change in our nation's educational system. With today's students on one side and the private sector on the other, the drama begins. The general theme is this: Prepare all students for their future and not our pasts.
