Abstract
During the fall of 1985, the comic strip/editorial cartoon Doonsbury portrayed Zonker and Mike discussing what they had accomplished since leaving college. After Zonker made a number of philosophical comments, Mike turned to him and said: "You mean that you're 38 years old and you haven't grown up yet.” There are those who feel that Zonker is representative of his generation.
