Jennifer McNabb

Information about Lecturer

Jennifer McNabb is professor and head of the Department of History at the University of Northern Iowa. Her teaching specialties include early modern European history and the history of England, and she is preparing a book for the University of Toronto Press on the history of medieval England. She currently serves as the Chief Reader of the College Board’s Advanced Placement program in European History. Dr. McNabb has received several awards for her teaching and completed a 48- part lecture series on the Renaissance for The Great Courses, released in July 2018; she is currently preparing a series on early modern witchcraft to be released on Audible.com in 2020. Her scholarship has appeared in The Sixteenth Century Journal, Quidditas, The Journal of the Wooden O, Women’s History and The Youth of Early Modern Women (published by Amsterdam University Press).
