Abstract
This paper is the twelfth of a series of germination studies of trees and shrubs, which have appeared in proceedings of the Iowa Academy of Science. The seeds for the present study were mostly collected in Texas and Mexico during January and February of 1929, by L. H. Pammel and were planted in the greenhouse at Iowa State College, during January and February of 1929.
