Abstract
As I read the paper, I was truly excited to hear of Geeta 's research and to hear about these programs building supportive communities for youth. It is so closely linked to all the work that I have done in the community over the last few years. Geeta described some very interesting work being done around the country, and her findings arc certainly current and appropriate for our community. We simply must find ways to collaborate. For those of you who are working for youth-serving agencies, collaboration is going to be the future for you; and you must find effective ways to do so. Collaboration is never easy, but often it isn't because people do not want to collaborate. I think nearly everyone sees the need for it. But the strategies for achieving these sorts of collaborative efforts are very unclear to many.
