Abstract
As I reviewed the contents of Skip's paper, and again as I listened today to his thoughtful presentation, there were two initial and rather personal thoughts which came to my mind. One thought is how much I appreciate the services which I and my family receive from Youth Serving Organizations here in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. All of my children have been involved with Boy and Girl Scouting organizations, recreation programs, and community services. I personally benefit from our beautiful Black Hawk County YMCA almost every day, as that is my workout home. Tom Davis mentioned enabling factors today, as he spoke with you about wellness. Our local YMCA is my own personal enabling factor. It is what makes the healthy choice the easy and enjoyable choice for me and members of my family.
