Abstract
This paper will examine the response of intercollegiate debaters to a survey mailed fifteen days after the District IV tournament had concluded. Thirty-six debaters participated in the tournament. An initial and a follow-up mailing resulted in responses from 24 of the participants. Each student was asked to answer individually, rather than to give team answers to each of the 18 questions. Since some of the questions had a fairly similar intent, only those that seemed unique and that related to the student interest in examining the interaction process between themselves and the three critics were examined.
