Abstract
A learning contract can be constructed at the beginning of a collegiate course of study in communication and reviewed at the end. Such contracts encourage a serious and purposeful approach to undergraduate study. They also allow students a means of assessing their own achievements and provide the faculty one means of evaluating the curriculum.
