Abstract
Political Communication increasingly is being recognized as a main area of research for communication scholars. From the high-profile work of Kathleen Hall Jamieson to the creation of the National Communication Association's Political Communication Division, the study of communication texts generated by the political realm is emerging as a central part of communication students' education.
