Abstract
The lifelong value of oral communication abilities has been well documented. Surveys of college graduates, employers, and corporate executives have emphasized the relationship between career success and sophisticated communication abilities. For example, when reporting interviews with thirty vice-presidents and division directors, Hauge concluded that skills in problem solving, communication, and interpersonal relations were most valued in high tech corporations.
