Abstract
Maurice F. Birdsall represents over forty-five years of service to speech and theatre in Iowa and "his show" goes on. He made his entrance in 1936 at Ocheyedan High School where he taught for two years. The second scene was at Pella High (1938-42) until the military service claimed him, but even that could not stop him from directing. He spent a furlough directing the "Four Freedoms Pageant" for Pella's 1943 Tulip Time.
