Abstract
Speech educators, we are ignoring a major portion of our ranks: the speech teachers in Iowa's public schools. It must be very difficult to be a speech teacher in the public schools in Iowa. One of the reasons which make the speech teacher's job particularly difficult is the lack of professional publications specifically for this group. There are no publications sponsored by the national, regional, or state organizations which are focused on the needs and concerns of this group; nor are there any publications which are chiefly composed of articles submitted by this group.
