Abstract
Not since the days of Prohibition has there been such widespread, guilt-free violation of the law. Not since the hula-hoop has a manufactured device provided so much pleasure for the citizenry. Not since the development of the tailor-made cigarette has a device made social status so easy to acquire and given so many people the feeling of being members of a happy, witty, trouble-free society. The citizens-band radio (CB) does it all.
