Abstract

In the last few years, writing has become a major subject of discussion. Students who are not able to read I and write make headlines in newspapers and magazines. Letters to the newspaper editors reflect the concerns of both parents and teachers about the lack of writing skills. Reports on education have made laymen more aware of writing problems. Educators are feeling pressure from legislators who are responding to pressure from constituents.
