Abstract

Educators are continually evaluating and altering curriculuar [sic] programs to meet the academic needs of students with varying abilities and interests. The field of mathematics is no exception to this, being one of the fastest . growing and most rapidly changing of the sciences. Handheld calculators, microcomputers, and more complete mathematics sequences are stimulating educators to re-evaluate and change existing school programs.
