Abstract
The teaching of cataloging in library and information science programs has been seen to be in decline over the years. With this anecdotal evidence for cataloging in general, what could this mean for the instruction of cartographic materials cataloging? This article will investigate the current state of cartographic materials cataloging instruction and suggest ways such instruction could occur.
