In the past few decades, the quantification of attitude measurement has been an area of experimental investigation. Measurement of any phenomenon pre-supposes a proper definition and an analysis of the concept under consideration. The present study is an approach to the clarification of the concept, preparatory to an experimental attack in the area of psychosociological measurement of attitudes.
