In collaboration with James Jenkins, piano, Kelly Behling performed selections by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss, Cécile Chaminade, and Libby Larsen. Violinist Naima Burrs was featured in the Mozart aria, “L’amerò, sarò costante.” This abstract serves as a brief analysis of the historical background, text, and musical characteristics present in the listed selections.
