Abstract

I read a story, a true story in fact, with real people and real events, an account really, about a piece of cloth. This piece of fabric, brocade actually, had been cut from an old sofa, a couch; stained "shit-brown" from dried blood so went the account. In truth, it was Adolph Hitler's blood on that piece of cloth cut from the couch which he sat on in his bunker beneath burning Berlin before and after he blew his brains out and bled on the brocade.
